Pilates Classes

Classes are limited to 15 people so as to ensure adequate supervision and to enable participants to execute the exercises efficiently. Classes are booked in blocks.  Drop in sessions are available at a cost of £10 per class.  Should you wish to then sign up for the block this amount will be deducted from the final balance.

Beginners Pilates

An eight week course aimed at establishing the key elements of Pilates and giving participants a good understanding of the basics of Pilates.  During the classes exercises are progressed according to each individual person's needs.

Spaces are limited to 15 people so book early to avoid disappointment!

Intermediate Pilates

Having a good grounding in the basics of Pilates the Intermediate classes challenge participants core stability and flexibility even further by progressing the exercises and using additional equipment including foam rollers, Pilates rings and therabands. Participants will be feeling even more toned and hopefully experiencing the benefits in their day to day life and sporting activities!

Ante Natal Pilates

Pregnancy brings with it many changes to a woman╩╝s body as their baby grows. Pilates is a great way of maintaining flexiblity and strength and preparing a mother for her new arrival. Classes provide Mum's-to-be with a safe and effective method to help them stay in shape and exercise safely under the supervision of a physiotherapist.

Post Natal Pilates

After pregnancy a woman can be very prone to musculoskeletal injuries due to hormonal changes and weakness in the abdominal and pelvic floor muscles.  The arrival of a new baby means mother's spend alot more time in a bent over position placing great strain on their spine often leading to back and neck pain.  All that extra lifting can lead to repetitive strain shoulder and neck injuries put alongside sleep deprivation - it can all leave Mum's lives a little harder to cope with!  Pilates is a fun and efficient way to target these issues whilst helping mother's to get back in shape and back to fitness!
